Creating a Meaningful Father's Day

Is there room in the world for everyone’s creativity? I believe so. While each of us have our own brand of creativity and find our own journey there, creativity unexpressed is frustrating. The joy of life lies in identifying with others through ideas, emotions and a deeper connection - creativity.

My path has been varied and would confuse anyone looking at my biography. That path has offered me a depth and feeling that otherwise may have been stifled. I want to share what I love with anyone who has an interest in the expression of life through music. My music is difficult to put a “brand” on. Life cannot be summed up in one melody nor can my music be held to one genre. My music is life expressing through me.

A good example of this is a piece I wrote called Tears for Dad. I didn't intend for anyone to hear this piece. It was an expression of the grief I felt at my Father’s death. My father was extremely important to me and this piece came very naturally to me. I hope it touches you in a way that honors our relationships with our fathers and our sons. Our families are the ultimate opportunity to grow love in our lives. If we create nothing else but love in our family, that is enough. There is enough space in the world for everyone’s creativity to grow and live and love.

Enjoy the video. :)
